Garret Murphy has lived in Napa for 15 years, and although he was born in Boston, his French accent comes from Paris, France, where he was raised. Murphy founded Vintner's Collective, a multi-winery tasting room located in the Pfeiffer Building, Napa’s oldest commercial building. The former brewery and saloon dates from 1875 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Murphy also serves on the Napa Downtown Steering Plan Committee. He and his wife Kim own a residence in the historic downtown area of Napa and have two daughters, Manon and Juliette.
